Voices of the Empire is the latest sample-based virtual instrument from EastWest. Produced by Doug Rogers and Nick Phoenix, the library showcases the unique talents of Uyanga Bold.
This Mongolian-born, classically trained singer has appeared on numerous film, tv and video game soundtracks and recently toured with Hans Zimmer and the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra. Voices of the Empire promises dozens of expressive phrases in every key and a wide range of fully playable multi-sampled vocals, including Mongolian-, Bulgarian- and Western-style vocal instruments, two unique Mongolian legato vocal instruments, one traditional legato vocal instrument and an expressive vowel-based vocal instrument.
EastWest say that Voices of the Empire is perfect for epic scores and soundtracks, and ideal for use alongside the comprehensive Hollywood Choirs which we've reviewed in the upcoming June issue (out May 24). It’s available now, priced $299. Hear it in action in the suitably epic trailer from EastWest below.
