Digital Surround Processor
Soundfield have announced the a new product in their DSF range of surround sound processors. The new device, the DSF3, is aimed at broadcasters, but is also useful in the studio.
The signal path of the DSF3 is entirely digital, so you don't need any additional equipment to convert the analogue output signals. As with the other Soundfield processors, the DSF3 has controls that allow you to remotely adjust the direction of pickup and polar response of the entire system, as well as change the gain of each channel in a 5.1 surround signal.
