Gig Junkie website helps fans

The innertubes are filled with social networking sites all hoping to be the next Facebook, but one that recently caught our eye, because it could be of real use to bands struggling to build a fan base, is the recently launched Gig Junkie. The website lets users search by band, artist, venue or location, and a few random tests at PM Towers suggest that while coverage is still a bit sparse, for a beta version, it isn't bad at all.
