Cordial introduce new Silver and Road Line cables.
Lead makers, Cordial, have some new models designed to tempt the owners of cheap, crackly leads onto something decent — the Silver Line and the Road Line.
The Silver Line has been introduced specifically to persuade users of rubbish leads (always a mistake) onto something a bit better, but at an affordable price. As an example, DFD say a three-metre jack-to-jack version will sell for just £12.52. Apparently, it comes with genuine Neutrik jacks and offers "great signal clarity".
If you're feeling a bit more flush, Cordial hopes you'll be tempted by the Road Line series, which is a bit more upper-mid market. Here, a three-metre jack lead will set you back £24.50, but for that you get "a rugged and robust lead that fulfils all the sonic and reliability issues that concern the gigging player".
In practice, that means you get custom Neutrik jacks, high neoprene content in the jacket and conductive plastic technology for maximum screening against RF interference.
