Sample Logic’s latest release is a new loop-based instrument that provides a wide variety of percussion beats and kits suitable for many genres. Built for Kontakt, HeartBeat combines 2,400 audio loops with 216 fully playable kits, giving composers, producers and sound designers an expansive rhythmic toolkit.
Each kit brings together curated sets of loops and slices, covering everything from epic trailer pulses and hybrid percussion to trap, hip-hop, funk, indie rock and electronic patterns. Users can drop loops directly into a DAW or manipulate them via Kontakt’s intuitive engine for fresh, evolving results.
Key performance features include Attack & Release shaping, chromatic sample stretching, global retuning, pitch shifting and an integrated FX suite with delay, reverb, as well as customised “driver” and “sweetener” processing tools. A built-in waveform display, favourite sound recall and MIDI-controllable UI ensure fast, hands-on creativity in both studio and live settings.
The library weighs in at 3.15GB, with all samples recorded at 44.1kHz/24-bit. It requires the full version of Kontakt (v7.10.6 or higher) and is not compatible with the free Kontakt Player.
