The 2016 soundware winner, Refractor. KVR Audio have announced the KVR Developer Challenge 2018, the seventh instalment of their audio plug-in, application and soundware design event.
The KVR Developer Challenge is open to everyone who develops audio plug-ins or applications and soundware. To enter, simply create and release an original, new, free audio plug-in, application or sound library/pack/set that will benefit the community at large. KVR members will vote on the entries and pick the winner based on ratings of designated criteria. The entry with the most votes will win. Projects can be simple or complex, but creativity is key!
Five cash prizes will be awarded to the top entries and a wildcard pick. Cash prizes are sponsored by the community-funded KVR Developer Challenge 2018 donation pool. Other sponsored prizes will be announced soon, and additional software prizes to be added will be shared with donators to the competition.
Entries may be submitted through August 30, 2018. All submissions will then be hosted for download on the KVR server and released simultaneously for public appraisal and voting. Voting will close on September 30, 2018, with the winner being announced in October.
