Melda Production are celebrating their 16th anniversary with an update to their entire range of over 100 plug-ins. With the launch of V17, a number of the company’s offerings have gained new features, and can now be installed and managed from a new dedicated application.
A highlight of the release is MPluginManager, a new software application that has been designed to take care of downloading and installing Melda’s products. Available from the Downloads section of the company’s website, it allows users to install, license and repair their Melda plug-ins and instruments, and can automatically keep them up to date.
Users of MSoundFactory gain a selection of new add-ons including Cyberpunk Bass, Trap Bass, Cyclicity, Ethereal Keys, Alchemist Whoosh and Organic Scape, all of which are free to existing license owners. The company have also made some changes that improve the efficiency of many plug-ins, and updated compatibility across the whole range to keep up with current standards.
Compatibility
Melda’s V17 plug-ins are supported on PCs running Windows 8 and above, and Macs running macOS 10.14 or higher. VST, VST3, AU and AAX versions are available.

The V17 update is available now, and is free to all existing users. Those wishing to try out any of Melda’s instruments or effects can take advantage of 15-day trial versions, and the company are currently (14 August 2024) running an anniversary sale, with significant savings applied across their range.
