Music For All charity auction

Join the MIA at Madame Tussauds, London, on the 23rd November for a one-off fundraising auction
Music For All, the charity arm of the Music Industries Association (MIA) is holding a fundraising auction at Madame Tussauds in London, on Friday the 23rd of November.

The host on the night will be Rick Wakeman who, along with Music For All patron Aled Jones, will be joining guests on a tour around the wax museum, after which a three-course meal will be served and the fundraising auction will commence.

Under the hammer will be a selection of money-can't-buy objects, including the following:

• A Taylor 714CE acoustic guitar, signed by Joe Walsh

• A drumming master class, with Ian Paice (Deep Purple)

• An Akai MIDI pad controller, signed by Genesis

• A Fender Telecaster, signed by Status Quo

• A Roland TD-20K drum kit, signed by Omar Hakim

• A Crafter guitar, signed by Katie Melua

• A Roland Fantom-X7 keyboard, signed by Cliff Richard

• An Ozark Deluxe electro-acoustic guitar with cutaway, signed by Newton Faulkner

Presiding over the auction, bizarrely, will be none other than ventriloquist Roger De Courcey, with his dummy Nookie Bear, and ’70s rockers Argent will be re-forming to provide live music for the occasion.

Tickets to the event cost £150 per person. To book your ticket, contact Janine Newton-Howes on +44 (0)1792 515002 or email janinen@roland.co.uk. There is a Black Tie dress code.
