Sponsored by Sound On Sound, the MPS brings with it a host of free-to-attend seminars alongside the latest recording gear from some of the industry’s biggest brands. Already confirmed are the likes of Yamaha, Sennheiser, Universal Audio, Production Room, Apogee, Focusrite, Steinberg, Genelec, KMR Audio and Sontronics.

Sound On Sound’s Hugh Robjohns and Paul White will team up to deliver two seminars. The first, titled ‘It Won’t Sound Right If You Don’t Hear It Right,’ tackles the thorny subject of studio acoustics, monitors and critical listening, while the duo’s ‘Studio Solutions’ will take the format of an open Q&A session, affording visitors the chance to pick the brains of two of the UK’s most respected pro-audio technical journalists on any music technology related question.

Among the seminar highlights, legendary audio electronics engineer Dave Hill (founder of Crane Song and Dave Hill Designs) is set to present a seminar — exclusive to MPS in Europe — entitled ‘Jitter: What It Sounds Like And What You Can Do About It’. Given Hill’s pre-eminence in audio design, the seminar will be of great interest to professional audio engineers and ambitious students alike.
