Breakout Cables
Cable innovators Planet Waves have unveiled a new line of cabling products based on D-Sub connectors. The Modular Snake System, as its called, centres around what the manufacturers call the Core Cable: a 5-, 10- or 25-foot eight-way D-Sub multicore.
Breakout cables are connected to each end of the Core Cable, providing a choice of connectors, including TRS jacks, male XLRs, female XLRs, and male/female XLR combinations. Users can mix and match parts of the system to customise the cables to their system.
Here's Robert Cunningham with SOS Editor In Chief Paul White to tell you more about the system.
