If you're an audiophile who's experienced the Kii THREE, you'll know that Kii Audio is synonymous with cutting-edge studio monitoring. Just like its predecessor, the brand new Kii SEVEN claims to revolutionise your listening experience.
The Kii SEVEN is a powerhouse, boasting two 6.5-inch woofers, a 5-inch midrange driver, and a 1-inch tweeter with a custom waveguide. All these are powered by 600 Watts of amplification. The result? A remarkably flat base frequency response, which can be tweaked to emphasise bass or treble levels to your liking.
The Kii SEVEN offers two modes: minimum phase and minimum latency. The minimum latency mode allows for playback with virtually no delay, ideal for recording. On the other hand, when latency isn't a concern, the minimum-phase mode offers impeccable accuracy, simplifying mix decisions.
But it's not just about the sound. The Kii SEVEN also employs Kii Audio's unique cardioid point-source technology. This technology uses advanced DSP calculations to create a cardioid sound dispersion, resulting in significantly less room response and clearer playback quality. Even in studios with challenging acoustics, the Kii SEVEN ensures a reliable, consistent sound field, crucial for professional applications.
The Kii SEVEN is also designed for seamless integration into any setup. It features analogue XLR, TRS inputs, and AES/EBU connectors for digital signals. It can connect wirelessly to consumer-level devices via Apple Airplay and Bluetooth, and professional audio environments can connect via Dante. The Kii Control can act as a monitor controller, and you can connect multiple Kii SEVEN and Kii THREE speakers for immersive monitoring in Dolby Atmos.
