Native Instruments announces Komplete 14, the latest edition of their flagship production suite. NI say this is their biggest ever production bundle, including powerful audio programs such as Kontakt 7, Playbox and iZotope’s Ozone 10 Standard, plus an array of synths and effects from Plugin Alliance.
Kontakt has become an essential tool for sound designers, having been used for 20 years for countless film scores and pop hits, not to mention thousands of virtual instruments that use its architecture. For Kontakt 7, Native Instruments have improved the browsing functionality with a new HiDPI browser and Factory Library, added new creative effects and boosted the software’s overall performance. Kontakt 7 is set for launch in October 2022 and is included with Komplete 14 Standard and above.
Another big inclusion is the newest version of iZotope’s comprehensive mastering software, Ozone 10 Standard. There are a raft of creative studio tools included from Plugin Alliance and Brainworx, with a host of synths and effects including bx_Oberhausen, Knifonium, bx_Crispytuner, LO-FI-AF, bx_Console Focusrite SC, bx_Console N, and more. And of course Native Instruments include access to their own latest software releases; a staggering selection of synths, sample libraries and effects.
To appeal to a variety of price points, Komplete 14 is available in four different editions: Select, Standard, Ultimate and Collector’s Edition. Select contains the essential instruments, effects and expansions, ranging up to the all-encompassing Collector’s Edition which contains the full works from Komplete 14. You can compare what's included in the various versions on the Native Instruments website.
Komplete 14 will be released on 27 September.
All four bundles can be pre-ordered now: Select $199£179; Standard $599£539; Ultimate $1,199£1,079; Collector’s Edition $1,799£1,619.
