Following on from their string of sample pack releases, Song Athletics have announced the launch of their first plug-in instrument. One Shot Sampler, or OSS, has been designed to provide users with a quick and easy way to access and trigger their favourite one-shot samples.
The plug-in has been developed by John Howes (Cong Burn) and features a simple, intuitive GUI that can be set to a range of different colour schemes or be loaded with a custom background image. Samples can be located and displayed in a menu system, where they can be quickly auditioned and sculpted with a simple set of parameters. Along with adjustment over a sample’s start time and level, the plug-in is also equipped with an ADSR envelope section.
Compatibility
OSS is supported on PCs running Windows 10 or 11, and Macs running macOS 10.11 or higher. It is available in VST3 and AU plug-in formats. There is no AAX version, so the plug-in cannot be used in Pro Tools.
