RME have announced the launch of an update that brings VU-style metering to their powerful DigiCheck NG software, along with the news that all of their USB pro-audio interfaces now benefit from dedicated Windows 11 ARM drivers.
The first announcement is a brief one: in response to user requests, DigiCheck NG is now equipped with an additional metering mode that provides users with a configurable VU-style meter. It’s available now for all users, and the latest version of the application can be found in the Downloads section of the RME website.
There’s been a lot of talk surrounding ARM processors recently, with many pro-audio companies working on and releasing new builds of their DAWs and plug-ins that offer compatibility with ARM64-based systems. Given RME’s reputation for drivers and support, it’s not surprising to hear that their entire line-up of USB pro-audio interfaces dating back to 2009 can now be used on ARM-based Windows 11 systems thanks to a new dedicated driver. A full list of the included models can be found on the RME website.
