Sonuscore update The Score

New modes, Stories & functionality enhancements

Sonuscore The Score all-in-one composer sample library melody chord progression generation tools

Sonuscore have announced the release of a significant update for their flagship software instrument, introducing an array of new features and enhancements based on user feedback. With the arrival of version 1.2, The Score gives users more control over the behind-the-scenes technology behind the instrument while still keeping the focus on creativity rathe than technical details.

What’s New?

  • Free Mode: This new mode allows each of The Score’s slots to function as a freely playable instrument. Users are able to create their own custom Stories that mimic specific articulations, a feature that Sonuscore say is ideal for creating grand orchestral sustains.
  • External Mode: It’s now possible to bypass the instrument’s sequencer engine and assign each slot a different MIDI channel so that it can be controlled directly from its own dedicated DAW track.
  • Undo/Redo: The Play Page now has its own undo and redo functions.
  • Solo/Mute: The existing solo and mute buttons can now be automated.
  • New Story Category: An additional Ensembles category containing 20 new Stories has been added, many of which demonstrate the potential of Free Mode.
