Sound Pure's new home

New studio complex & Guitar Boutique for Sound Pure
Pro audio retailers Sound Pure have opened new facilities in their home town of Durham, North Carolina. But this is no ordinary store; they’ve completely rennovated a dilapitated 1900’s building in the heart of the city, equipping the facility with state-of-the-art studios and what they call their Guitar Boutique.

The project has taken two and a half years of hard work, with Sound Pure staff and engineers personally designing, equipping, and hand-wiring the studio, with a little help from some friends. With the job complete, Sound Pure now have 3000 square feet of studio space to play with, with a large live room, and two control rooms, packed with professional studio equipment for visitors to try out. Oh, and there’s a seven-foot Steinway just for kicks. The Guitar Boutique, an adjoining facility, is a retail outlet for some of the most exclusive guitars and amplifiers money can buy.

The studio will be run as a commercial recording facility, but it will also be available for product demonstrations and shoot-outs, as well as performances and seminars. For more information, head to www.soundpure.com.
