SoundGirls Virtual Conference announced

Event takes place December 4th-5th 2021

SoundGirls Virtual Conference

SoundGirls are a non-profit organisation aimed at providing support for women and non-binary persons working in professional audio, and they've just released details of their upcoming Virtual Conference, taking place on December 4th-5th, 2021.

Open to all, the SoundGirls Virtual Conference will cover such topics as post-production, recording, live sound, theatre production and broadcast audio, as well as providing networking and mentoring opportunities to anyone who wants to get ahead in the world of sound.

About the organisation in general, and the Virtual Conference in particular, SoundGirls co-founder Karrie Keyes says: “SoundGirls has always existed to provide a support network for women and non-binary people working in pro audio, and to create opportunities for education and growth. Even though we’ve made great strides in recent years, the industry is still sorely lacking in women, non-binary, and people of colour across all sectors. The roster for the SoundGirls Virtual Conference intentionally draws from a cross section of experts in our industry, providing greater representation by women and non-binary people and those who support them.”

Tickets for the Virtual Conference are available as either day passes or a Full Access Pass, the latter of which grants full access to all the online events, including those hosted by the SoundGirls Mexico City Chapter, which will be held in Spanish.
