Yorkville have introduced two new additions to the YXL Series, their most affordable speaker line-up. Although pricing details for the two new units have not yet been revealed, the company claim that the YXL Tower10 and YXL Tower12 are set to be their most affordable column PA systems to date. Designed for musicians, presenters and small venues, the new systems combine portability with a full-range sound reinforcement solution.
Both models deliver 1550 watts of peak power, with the Tower10 housing a 10-inch subwoofer and the Tower12 stepping up to a 12-inch version. Each unit also incorporates four 3-inch midrange drivers and a high-frequency compression driver. Weighing under 20 kilograms, the systems are designed to be easy to transport, with each including a subwoofer cover and gig bag.
The integrated three-channel mixer provides mic, line, instrument, and Bluetooth inputs, with support for wireless stereo playback between two systems. Three voicing modes – Concert, Club, and Speech – allow quick optimisation for different applications. Up to sixteen towers can be linked together, and up to three onboard mixers can remain active within the linked system.
The speaker column can be mounted directly to the subwoofer or raised using the included extension piece for added height. Peak SPL reaches 124 dB on the Tower10 and 126 dB on the Tower12, with frequency responses of 49 Hz–20 kHz and 45 Hz–20 kHz respectively.

Although pricing details are not yet available, Yorkville have announced that the YXL Tower10 and YXL Tower12 will begin shipping to dealers worldwide this autumn.
