Following the release of Funk Masters, an EZX expansion pack for EZ Drummer and Superior, Toontrack have brought us Jazz, another add-on for the virtual drummer software.Jazz features Roy ‘Futureman’ Wooten behind the drums, and was recorded at the magnificent Blackbird Studios in Nashville. Wooten is a strong believer that a drum performance shouldn’t be seen as a sequence of single hits, rather as a musical sequence. Toontrack say they’ve embraced his approach, with the results clear in the recordings for the expansion pack.
