Waveforms series expands
The third release in Ian Boddy’s Waveforms series of sample libraries is Drumalogue, a collection of 1000 drum and percussion hits. The samples have all been made by programming vintage analogue synths rather than sampling hardware drum machines, says Boddy, and some sounds feature analogue effects, such as spring reverbs and ‘bucket-brigade’ delays.
Files are provided in 24-bit WAV format, and patches are included for NI’s Kontakt software sampler, so users can get programming right away.
Drumalogue costs £25 and is available from on-line sample distributor Time + Space (www.timespace.com), who also sell the other titles in the Waveforms series.
