PSI Audio have announced that they are separating their larger speakers from the smaller nearfield models in their line-up. The former will now be available exclusively through approved, specialised retail partners, helping to ensure optimal integration of the systems into customers’ listening environments.
Until now, all monitors manufactured by PSI Audio were grouped together in the A-series, from the smallest A14-M all the way up to the recently introduced flagship A226-MAIN. To better support customers in integrating large speaker systems into their listening environments, PSI Audio have remodelled their distribution chain and will now sell the more challenging large systems exclusively through approved partners who are able to provide the appropriate demonstration and system integration services.
The new Custom Pro range encompasses the A23-M, A25-M, A226-MAIN, A326 D-REX, and the Sub A225-M, and the company say that they have put the new distribution model into place to ensure that customers don’t just get the best monitor speakers, but also the best possible listening experience for their respective situation.
PSI Audio say that this important step has been thoroughly considered and prepared, and so there’s already an extensive list of approved Custom Pro partners with the required acoustic and procedural know-how available on their website. The nearfield speakers from the A-series (A14-M, A14-M Broadcast, A17-M, A21-M, A214-M, A215-M) and the Sub A125-M subwoofer will continue to be available through the usual retail channels.
