Sonora Cinematic have launched this free pack filled with sounds that “shimmer with tension, mystery and wonder”. Drift was born from an ambitious orchestral recording session for a forthcoming virtual instrument.

Sonora Cinematic, the developer behind sample libraries and instruments such as Panorama Guitars, Emma Legato, Poiesis Cello and more, have announced the launch of Post-Rock Guitars Vol 1 and Vol 2.

Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ 4/5 Stars. Emma Legato is a very simple and inexpensive vocal instrument that runs on the free version of Kontakt (version 8 or higher).

Sonora Cinematic's latest release aims to preserve the soul of a beloved electric piano that tragically caught fire in their studio.

Contrasting the post-rock and shoegaze soundscapes of its predecessor, Panorama Acoustic is said to explore a world of resonances and quiet reflections, and offer an inspiring palette of evocative tones.

Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ 4/5 Stars. While the original Poiesis Cello was impressive, Poiesis Cello 2 takes things further while retaining the ethos of the original and still remaining affordable.

Emma Legato is said to be a powerful and user-friendly tool and has been designed to create rich vocal textures and realistic melody lines for cinematic and ambient compositions.

Now powered by the developer’s custom-built Aria engine, Poiesis Cello 2 introduces an array of creative controls, features and presets.

Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5/5 Stars. This sampled instrument takes the guitar sound and transforms it into something altogether more cinematic.

Sonora Cinematic have announced the launch of the second Kontakt Player instrument to be developed using their Aria engine.
