The Beeb are 'Sold On Song'
The BBC's new Sold On Song web site is dedicated to the art and craft of songwriting. It features insights into some of the greatest songs ever written, who wrote them and how they came to be.
It also features advice for songwriters, covering topics including writing music, writing lyrics, collaborating with other songwriters and the music business.
There are audio clips of hundreds of songs and interviews, and you can air your views on the web site's 'Top 100' list and vote for your favourite cover version.
