Your chance to record a demo with Elliot Mazer
An eBay auction to raise money for the TJ Martell foundation, who head-up research into Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS, is currently taking place.
The auction is to win a 'rock star for a day' package, courtesy of Universal Music, where the winner will get the chance to record a demo with Neil Young producer Elliot Mazer (who we interviewed in SOS February 2003 and on-line here).
Included in the prize is Elliot's time, a day in Tainted Blue studios in New York, and US domestic flights to and from New York City. (If the winner is from outside the USA, a contribution to the flight may be available.)
After the demo is recorded and mixed by Elliot, the winner will receive a copy and it will be sent to hundreds of radio stations and A&R executives at various record labels. The demo will also get reviewed by E1 Music (formerly KOCH Records') President Bob Frank.
