Hit’n’Mix have announced the release of RipX DeepCreate, a new RipX module designed to help users create new music from scratch using any instrument, MIDI/MPE controller, microphone, or samples. The module integrates seamlessly with the company’s DeepRemix stem separation & DeepAudio editing and clean-up software, and can be used alongside a DAW or as a standalone application.
RipX DeepCreate is built around the company’s revolutionary Rip Audio format, which is capable of separating mixed audio files into their component parts. For more detail on what the format is able to achieve, take a look at our review of RipX DeepAudio.
In addition to ripping existing audio files, this latest module allows users to connect any instrument or sound source and record directly into the software with all of the results being presented as Rip Audio, where they can then be manipulated and processed with DeepCreate’s effects and sounds. Multiple layers can be created, and sources can be blended together to create entirely new sounds and instruments.
VST3 instruments can also be ripped, with the resulting sound being stored as a preset within the software, and there are also a range of built-in instrument, percussion, SFX, and loops included. MIDI integration allows the software’s effects and parameters to be controlled in real time, whilst automation can be used to control all effects and levels, and applied to notes, groups of notes, and time regions. An entire song can be created from start to finish within DeepCreate, or stems can be exported for further work within a user’s chosen DAW.
RipX DeepCreate is supported on PCs running Windows 7 and above, and Macs running macOS X 10.12 and above, with support for both Intel and Apple Silicon processors. Import and export from and to a DAW is provided by included VST3 and AAX plug-ins, with Studio One, Cubase, Nuendo, Reaper, and Cakewalk benefitting from enhanced integration via ARA2.
