A new Tonex Modeler application is now available to users of all paid-for versions of IK Multimedia's Tonex amp- and effects-modelling software. Available via a Tonex update, the latest addition to the line-up introduces a variety of user-requested features and enhancements that promise to deliver more accurate and expressive Tone Models.
Provided as a standalone application, Tonex Modeler is said to make it quicker and easier than every for users to capture Tone Models of their own rigs. As well as streamlining the capture process, the application brings with it some powerful new functions, including a Batch Processing function that makes it possible to capture multiple amps, pedals or full setups in one session, and then carry out the training process later on.
The newly designed engine also offers some performance enhancements that help it to more accurately recreate high-gain tones, with IK saying that the results offer a tighter-sounding low end, richer harmonics and a clearer sound than rival products.
