JBL unveil all-in-one linear array PA system

Sub, six-channel mixer & Bluetooth packed into new package

The latest portable PA from JBL Professional is the Eon One, an all-in-one system that comprises a subwoofer, a linear array column, a six-channel mixer and Bluetooth audio streaming capabilities. Designed for gigging musicians, DJs and coffee shops, it promises superior sound quality, streamlined looks and compact portability.

Delivering a maximum SPL of 118dB, the Eon One system features a 10-inch bass-reflex subwoofer and a high-frequency section with six two-inch drivers arranged according to JBL’s patent-pending Directivity Control Geometry. This high-frequency array, and the two slot-in sections that form the column beneath it, can be detached and stowed away in the sub, creating a compact package that can be carried with one hand. The sub also houses the mixer, which provides mic, instrument and line inputs, with simplified EQ and reverb built in. Bluetooth connectivity allows you to stream music directly from a smartphone or tablet. The Eon One system will be available soon, with pricing yet to be confirmed.
