Minimal Audio release Morph EQ

Custom filter shapes with macro control

Minimal Audio Morph EQ expressive designer custom filter macros

Minimal Audio have announced the release of Morph EQ. Described by the company as an “expressive EQ designer”, the plug-in allows users to draw in custom filter paths and navigate them with the turn of a knob. Seven filter types are available, with stereo, single channel and mid-side routing options available. In terms of routing, both serial and parallel configurations are supported. There is also an adaptive Q mode which facilitates analogue-inspired filter resonances.

Macros can be used to control Morph EQ’s parameters, allowing global shifting of filter shapes and manipulation of filter cutoff points, making it easy to create and automate wide stereo effects. Over 100 presets configured with deep macro control are included, and EQ undo and redo functions are implemented to allow for easy editing. The plug-in also features a high-resolution spectrum analyser, providing visual feedback of the incoming audio signal.

The plug-in is supported on Windows 10 or higher, and on Apple computers running macOS 10.9 or higher, with AU, VST, VST3 and AAX versions available.

Morph EQ is available now from the Minimal Audio website, priced at €49$49.
