Said to be more than just another phaser, the latest plug-in to join the Minimal Audio line-up promises to add character and movement to sound sources thanks to a variety of filter modes and in-depth parameter control.
Ripple Phaser comes equipped with seven filter modes that offer variations on classic phasing effects, as well as allowing for unique-sounding filtering and all-pass dispersion. The effect can utilise up to 24 notch filters and offers in-depth control over the effect’s stereo field, making it possible to create everything from subtle widening effects to more extreme rotation sounds. Alongside its Frequency and Resonance controls, the plug-in is kitted out with a Modulation section that features an LFO with a selection of shapes, as well as randomisation and stereo offset controls.

Compatibility
Ripple Phaser is supported on PCs running Windows 10 or higher, and Macs running macOS 10.9 and above. VST, VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available. An internet connection is required for activation.

Ripple Phaser is available now, and is currently (19 July 2024) being offered at an introductory price of $29, reduced from its full cost of $49. It is also included in the company’s All Access subscription plan.
