The Type 20 A-Core continues the design philosophy that defines the A-Core family, offering a scaled-back version of the company’s flagship monitors that focus on simplicity, precision and musical honesty. As with its siblings, the new arrival comes without any onboard DSP, eliminating latency and software dependence. Despite the simplified feature set, the company say that the new version of the Type 20 reflects the same engineering standards found in their flagship MK2 and Tower Mains systems, combining “timeless analogue craftsmanship with modern acoustic innovation”.
