HEDD Audio unveil HEDDphone TWO GT

Designed for exceptional sound quality

HEDD Audio HEDDphone TWO GT

HEDD Audio have unveiled the HEDDphone TWO GT, a premium upgrade to their acclaimed HEDDphone TWO (reviewed in SOS Nov 2023 - read it here), designed to deliver exceptional sound quality for audiophiles. Known for its precision and clarity, the TWO GT takes HEDD's Air Motion Transformer (AMT) technology into the realm of immersive, high-end listening. Artists like Nils Frahm and Hildur Guðnadóttir have relied on HEDDphones for their honesty and precision, and the TWO GT continues this tradition with a more comfortable and ergonomic design.

Built around HEDD's Air Motion Transformer with Variable Velocity Transform technology, the TWO GT features a multi-layered Kapton diaphragm, significantly larger than most traditional drivers, allowing for incredibly accurate sound dynamics with a frequency range of 10Hz to 40kHz. This upgrade is said to result in enhanced detail, reduced distortion and an expansive soundstage, making it well suited for those seeking warmth in the midrange and a sparkling top end.

Comfort is a key aspect of the TWO GT, with a carbon fibre headband intended to reduce clamping force for long listening sessions, as well as luxurious ear pads available in both velour and sheep leather. The headphones also come equipped with high-purity silver plated copper cables, ensuring that listeners can dive straight into their music with top-tier connection quality.

Price & Availability

The HEDDphone TWO GT will be available worldwide in November 2024, priced at $2199£1868 (inc. tax & VAT), with a GTC Premium Upgrade Cable available for an additional $599£509 (inc. tax & VAT).
