Written by music technology guru Dave Bristow, the course has been designed to help musicians and music creatives get on top of technology. Using the free version of PreSonus’ Studio One DAW, Prime, the course will detail how to use a DAW to create demos, ringtones, music for videos and podcasts, and to understand score-writing. Arrangement and orchestration will be covered, with attendees guided through creating parts for bands. Soft synth programming will also be covered, providing an insight into the world of synthesis and sound design.
ASSR say the course has been designed for music teachers feeling overwhelmed by music technology, forward-thinking worship leaders and choir directors, or anyone feeling intimidated by the current crop of instructional media.
