Former Test star moves into plug-in preset design

Cricket fans will remember Henry Olonga (www.henryolonga.net) as a promising Zimbabwean fast bowler, who sacrificed his sporting career by making a brave on-field protest against the dictatorial rule of Robert Mugabe. Since relocating to England, Olonga has devoted his energies to his other main interest in life: music. Last year saw the release of his ambitious debut album Aurelia, and he has also become heavily involved in sound engineering, plug-in and preset design.

The first fruits of this strand of his new career are now available, in the shape of a number of affordable preset collections for Waves' Q-Clone 'sampling' equaliser. The full Colour Mix bundle includes over 1GB data and some 5000 separate presets, which seems a bargain at a mere £40. If your needs are more specialised, you can download one or more of the individual collections that make up this bundle. Prices range from £3 to £10, and the presets have been sampled from high-end devices such as Pultecs, Neves and an MCI JH500 desk that once recorded Bob Marley.
