Prism Sound's flagship A-D/D-A converter system, the Dream ADA-128, is now shipping. The first units have already been sent out to customers in the UK, USA, Japan, Germany and France, with the company planning to fulfil further orders over the coming weeks.
Originally announced in 2020, the ADA-128 is a modular system which can be fitted with up to 16 analogue and digital IO modules, offering up to 128 channels of the company’s renowned A‑D and D‑A conversion in a 2U rack unit. Compatibility with Pro Tools HDX, MADI, AES3 and Dante systems is provided, and the device is also capable of acting as a networkable audio distribution and processing system in addition to its conversion functionality.
“The ADA-128 is aimed at audio professionals across many different disciplines, including music recording, post production, broadcast, installation and, of course, Dolby Atmos and archiving. It builds on everything that is great about Prism Sound conversion but takes it to a new level in terms of power and flexibility.” - Mark Evans, Prism Sound Sales Director
