Sonora Cinematic have recently released the latest addition to the their popular series of instruments designed for Audiomodern’s free Soundbox sampler. Recorded during the sessions for the developer's Panorama Acoustic Kontakt library, Pure Nylon delivers the same warm tone and musical detail, but reimagined for Soundbox’s MPE-capable platform.
Said to be both intimate and inspiring from the moment a note is pressed, Pure Nylon can be put to work in ambient, cinematic, neo-classical, experimental and modern underscore styles, as well as serving more traditional and contemporary acoustic writing. The instrument focuses on three essential articulation types: Soft Plucked, Picked and Harmonics. Each articulation has been sampled note by note and includes three different round robins, ensuring the instrument is capable of delivering natural variation and realism throughout its range, as well as maintaining a highly ‘playable’ feel.
Those who want to push Pure Nylon into more creative territory can take advantage of a collection of experimental extras, including free improvisations — both of single notes and of root, fifth and octave arpeggios — that allow users to hold down a chord to create rich and chaotic soundscapes. Creative sequences and ambient presets are also included, making Pure Nylon as much a sound-design instrument as a traditional guitar library.

Compatibility
Pure Nylon requires Audiomodern Soundbox v1.0.7 or later, which is supported on PCs running Windows 10 or above, and Macs running macOS 10.14 and higher. VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available.
