Spitfire Symphony Orchestra announced

Create instant multi-section parts with 'Masse' patches

Spitfire have announced Spitfire Symphony Orchestra (SSO), an orchestral sample library featuring the three core choirs of the orchestra in a trio of libraries: Spitfire Symphonic Strings, Spitfire Symphonic Brass as well as the recently announced Spitfire Symphonic Woodwinds.

What’s different about SSO, apart from its breadth of available sonics, is a new product: Masse. This is essentially a powerful hybrid library, featuring a series of curated patches featuring arrangements of all the symphonic instruments, allowing instant access to full orchestral ensembles. According to Spitfire, with just 3 or 4 presets you’ll have master orchestral tracks up in no time.

Each library has been recorded using the best session players in London, playing priceless instruments and recorded via the pristine signal chain to 2” tape at Air Studios, London, the preferred recording location for blockbuster movies, AAA games and global TV franchises.

Five years in production, this initially started as a multi award-winning range (formally known as British Modular Library, BML), which has now been consolidated into SSO to provide a single entry point to professional electronic orchestration and production.

It is available now for £1499 inc. VAT / $1699 / €1739 inc. VAT
