Their latest such release introduces a new bundle of EQ and compression plug-ins that combine the company’s modelling expertise with sonible’s AI-assisted anaylsis technology.
The autoSeries bundle comprises three plug-ins, each of which feature native AI-assisted analysis tools that have been designed to help users create and adapt processing based on the content of their source material. Each plug-in analyses the incoming audio’s spectral and dynamic characteristics before suggesting adaptive profiles with style-matched settings.
autoEQ
Modelled on the SSL 4K E channel strip, autoEQ promises to take SSL’s legendary processing to a new level by analysing incoming audio and presenting users with adaptive profiles that offer style-matched settings — settings remain fully editable, so users are still left with control over the end results. the plug-in delivers the same sonic signature that helped shape records by the likes of Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Kate Bush, U2, Metallica and many more.

The sound of the 4000 G was embraced by legendary engineers and producers including Tom Lord Alge, Bob Rock and MixedByAli, and used by artists including Bruce Springsteen, Pink Floyd, Nirvana and Massive Attack. The plug-in’s AI assistance provides optimisation processing for whatever genre a user may be working in, as well as offering intelligent Full Mix, Vocal, Guitar and Drum bus profiles.

The autoSeries plug-ins are supported on PCs running Windows 10 and above, and Macs running macOS 11 or higher. VST2, VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available.
Pricing & Availability
The autoSeries plug-ins are available now, with individual perpetual licenses being offered at an introductory price of $49£46.80 / €49 each, or as a bundle for $99£94.80 / €99 until 26 January 2026, when they will increase to their full cost of $99£94.80 / €99 each and $149£142.80 / €149 for the bundle. GBP prices include VAT. They are also available as part of SSL’s Complete Access subscription.
