Antelope Audio have released a new remote control for their high-end Satori monitor controller. The Satori is a digitally controlled analogue monitoring and summing system built to the kind of exacting standards we’ve come to expect from Antelope. Depending on your studio setup, however, this 1U rack unit may not be easily accessible, so the addition of a desktop remote is a sensible and welcome development. The USB bus-powered R4S is compact wedge-shaped unit featuring the full complement of input source and monitor output select buttons, a large volume knob and a range of other functions, including talkback via a built-in mic. Available now, the R4S carries a US street price of $299.
