VSL have announced a significant update to Synchron Prime Edition, their powerful all-in-one orchestral sample library package. The latest version introduces Flow View, an intuitive new user interface that has been designed to minimise technical distractions and present users with just the essential controls for each instrument.
The company say that the new interface offers a fresh approach to creating music with orchestral instruments, and will allow users to play with minimal effort while the software takes care of articulations and musical expression. a clear layout focuses on tone, performance and sound, and the library will carry out automatic articulation switching based on the user’s playing speed and velocity.
Although Flow View offers a new playing experience, the library hasn’t lost any of its original functionality. The previous GUI is still present under the name of Precision View, and is just a click away for those who want to delve deeper into Synchron Prime Edition’s settings and advanced features.
Compatibility
Synchron Prime Edition is supported on PCs running Windows 10 or higher, and Macs running macOS 11 and above. VST, VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available. Authorisation is taken care of by PACE’s iLok system, either via physical USB iLok (second or third-generation version) or iLok Cloud.
