VSL have launched the second free expansion for Synchron Woodwinds, kitting the renowned sample library out with a pair of new legato articulations across a range of instruments.
Free to all registered users, the update includes Lyrical Legato, which offers a slower and more pronounced transition between notes that works well for slow- and medium tempo phrases, along with a Virtuosic Legato option designed specifically for fast runs. The new patches can be installed via Vienna Assistant, and will be available to the piccolo, alto flute, French oboe 1, English horn, bass clarinet, and bassoon 1 instruments. The articulations are, of course, also included as standard with every new purchase of the library.
Compatibility
Synchron Woodwinds runs in VSL's Synchron Player, which is supported on PCs running Windows 10 or 11, and Macs running macOS 10.14 and above. VST, VST3, AU and AAX versions are available.

The Lyrical and Virtuosic Legatos are available now for free to all Synchron Woodwinds owners. To celebrate their release, the company are currently offering the library at the following promotional prices:
