The latest iteration of Arturia’s ultra-compact MIDI controller has just been announced, offering a new design with a high-quality keybed and an intuitive set of controls. And despite the upgrades, the MicroLab Mk3 also comes in at a lower price than its predecessor!
Designed for small studios and users who need to work ‘on the go’, MicroLab Mk3 now comes equipped with an upgraded velocity-sensitive keybed (the same version that’s used in the MiniLab 3), while a pair of touch strips offer some additional expressive control. It features a Chord Mode that makes it possible to trigger full chords with a single note, and a Hold Mode that can be used to keep notes ringing out without the need for a sustain pedal. If you prefer the old-school approach, then the controller still features a sustain pedal input.
The MicroLab Mk3 comes supplied with Arturia’s Analog Lab Intro, a software bundle that includes a selection of sounds from their renowned V Collection, as well as a copy of Ableton Live Lite.
