Antelope Audio’s latest audio interface will be arriving in December 2025, and will offer a high-quality yet affordable design that promises to bridge the gap between high-end studios and bedroom setups. The Zenith 2 will be the company’s most affordable interface yet, but still boasts some impressive technical specifications and comes bundled with a collection of DSP processing plug-ins.
The new interface comes kitted out with a pair of Antelope’s discrete six-transistor mic preamps — the same design found in the flagship Orion Studio — and features high-quality A-D/D-A converters that offer up to 123dB of dynamic range. As with Antelope’s existing interfaces, the Zenith 2 is equipped with onboard DSP, and comes supplied with Tube-Opto Compressor, Sky EQ and De-Esser plug-ins, all of which can be utilised in real-time during tracking.
The Zenith 2 offers class-compliant, bus-powered connectivity, allowing it to operate without the need for dedicated drivers across Mac, Windows, iOS and Android devices. Along with its local I/O, the interface features built-in Loopback functionality, making quick work of blending its I/O with computer audio for applications such as live streaming. A pair of powerful independent headphone amplifiers are included, each of which are kitted out with a dedicated volume control and provide enough power to drive high-impedance headphones.
