Ableton have announced the next Loop Create event, taking place on Saturday 29 October 2022 at 4pm (Berlin/UTC+2). This online event is free to attend and offers opportunities for creative collaboration as well as a variety of interviews and seminars, based around the central theme of ‘Get Together’.
Launched by Ableton in 2015, Loop is an ongoing series of events designed to bring music makers together. Joining artists, technologists, educators and original thinkers from around the world, Loop connects a global music-making community.
With sessions and activities focused on cooperation and collective forms of creation, the programme runs for six and a half hours. Guests include film composer and cellist Hildur Guðnadóttir, who will join her long-term collaborator Sam Slater for an interview on the benefits of working together. Sound artist and guitarist Maya Shenfeld will guide a workshop on using written instructions to create an open-minded and democratic mood in the studio. And DJs and producers Gafacci, Juba, Aquarian and Mustelide will provide insight into their creative processes. Between sessions, attendees can join the Loop Café to virtually hang out, chat and share ideas.
Full details of the schedule and detailed descriptions of the sessions will be released on 11 October.
