ACM Music Production Scholarship applications closing

ACM partners with Music Gateway for £27,000 scholarship

The Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) have announced a brand new Music Production Scholarship in partnership with Music Gateway, a platform designed to allow creative and music industry professionals to connect and work together. Worth up to £27,000, the recipient of the scholarship will have their entire Music Production degree fully-funded. Valid at ACM Guildford, ACM London and ACM’s newest campus in Birmingham, students holding offers for study are asked to complete a video application to apply for this prestigious award.

You’d better get your skates on, though, because the closing date for applications is August 31, 2017.

Executive Chairman of ACM, Kainne Clements, said: "We’re privileged to work with Music Gateway on this enabling opportunity for our Audio Production students, especially since we believe that our blend of industry education should be accessible to everybody who is committed to a career in music. We’re all very much looking forward to reviewing the Scholarship entries and to awarding the Scholarship to the lucky recipient this September.”

Music Gateway and ACM are both excited to build on their existing successful partnership, in which the entire ACM student body have access to the Music Gateway platform, and Music Gateway receive a healthy employment stream with 6 team members being made up of ACM graduates. Jon Skinner, CEO & Founder of Music Gateway, said: “We are very pleased to be joining forces with ACM to bring this Scholarship to life. We absolutely love everything ACM has to offer its students and we cannot wait to provide this opportunity for the right student willing to prove themselves in this very challenging industry. It is with this that we hope to empower the next generation of creatives and kickstart an eager student’s career with such amazing financial support.”

ACM offers an immersive experience for their student body. Operating a unique, ‘learning by doing’ approach, ACM has developed exclusive partnerships with the likes of Metropolis Studios where 50% of UK chart music is recorded, mixed or mastered. It’s these real-world partnerships coupled with ACM's state-of-the-art facilities and world-class tutors that really sell this music industry training.

Making their education more accessible than ever, ACM currently offers over £130,000 in scholarships including; the Freddie Mercury Scholarship, the BASCA Scholarship, the Skunk Anansie Scholarship, the Keith Lowde Scholarship and the Music Production Scholarship — meaning that five talented students joining ACM this year will graduate from their immersive industry education, free of tuition fee debt.

Limited spaces are available on courses at ACM Guildford, London and Birmingham starting in September via UCAS Clearing. To discuss your options call the Admissions team on: +44 (0)1483 500 841
