Audient unveil Black Series
Audient, manufacturers of high-quality audio hardware, have unveiled their Black Series, a modular system that includes top-class mic preamp, EQ, compression, and A-D conversion modules.
The range centres around the BR10 'Black Rack', a 4U rackmount frame that features 10 vertical slots for the Black Series modules. These consist of the Black Pre, a mono Class-A mic and line preamplifier and DI, the Black (three-band) EQ, the Black Comp, an optical compressor with a distinctive VU meter, and the black ADC, a two-channel A-D converter capable of handling 24-bit/192kHz signals.
