The Grand Prix prize provided the three highest scoring winners with an all-expenses-paid VIP four-day stay in Budapest, where they attended a prize-giving ceremony and were presented with their awards by the competition’s organisers.
With the cameras rolling, winners were presented with their prizes at a rooftop ceremony affording an exclusive panoramic view of the whole of Budapest. The gathering that personally presented awards to the winners included FMC director Vlado Železňák Jr and FMC producer Vlado Železňák Snr — in attendance on behalf of the competition organisers — and FMC’s media partner Paul Gilby (UK) from Sound On Sound magazine. Also present were Antoni Ozynski (Poland), co-founder of PSPAudioware (a long-standing partner of the event); Jozef Zeleňák, director of Prodex; Ruby Fang (Hong Kong), a successful fashion designer, CEO and chief design director; and Paul Kevin Wiffen (UK), a member of the 2023 international jury.
