IK Multimedia have partnered with Miami-based Heiga Studios to release the Heiga Studios Amp Series for ToneX, a new collection of premium Tone Models captured from the studio’s extensive amplifier collection.
The series is engineered by Heiga Studios co-founder and Head of Audio & Music Production Adrian Morales-Demori, drawing on the studio’s microphones, analogue front-end, and curated signal chains intended to recreate the sound and feel of sessions recorded at Heiga Studios. The goal is to give ToneX users access to rare, vintage and boutique amps captured in a professional studio environment, regardless of their own recording setup.
Adrian Morales-Demori: For this collection, I worked countless hours over several months in the studio, testing multiple guitar amps, settings, and cabinets while refining microphone placements, phase alignment, mic preamps, EQ, and compressors.
The Heiga Studios Amp Series includes 10 collections — nine guitar collections and one bass collection — comprising 142 Tone Models, with genre-focused presets reflecting Morales-Demori’s production style. The models are compatible across the ToneX ecosystem, including ToneX software for Mac and PC, TONEX Pedal, TONEX ONE, and supported workflows within AmpliTube 5.
The collection totals 142 tones in Heiga Studios Co-founder Adrian Morales-Demori’s personal style and genre-specific presets, based on some of the most iconic and rare amps available at Heiga Studios.
