JH Audio acquired by Sound Devices

Sound Devices have announced the acquisition of Florida-based in-ear monitor manufacturer JH Audio. This deal brings together two established pro audio companies under the Audiotonix group, which also owns brands such as DiGiCo, SSL, Allen & Heath and KLANG:technologies.

Founded by engineer Jerry Harvey, JH Audio are widely regarded for their custom-fit in-ear monitors and the brand has been a staple in live touring audio for decades. This acquisition marks a strategic move for Sound Devices as it expands its capabilities in wireless and monitoring technologies, particularly around its Astral RF wireless series.
