Rhodes have expanded their virtual instrument range with the release of the Rhodes Wurli, a detailed software recreation of the iconic reed-based electric piano sound that helped to define numerous classic recordings since the 1970s.
The Rhodes Wurli captures the distinctive tone and dynamic response of the original 200A model, known for its midrange-forward bite and expressive playability. This instrument has been featured on legendary tracks by artists such as Ray Charles, Elton John and Joni Mitchell.
Built on the same engine as Rhodes’ Anthology plug-in, Rhodes Wurli offers a vintage-style interface inspired by the original hardware, complete with LED indicators and rotary controls. It also introduces new models of the 200A amplifier and speaker system, designed to deliver authentic warmth and natural breakup.
