Korg create Kaoss for DJs

New Kaoss Pad-equipped mixers announced
Korg have announced two new DJ mixers that have on-board Kaoss Pads. But this isn't the first time we've seen one of Korg's effects units built into a DJ mixer. In 2000 (yes, seven years ago!) Numark released their EM360, which featured that familiar touchpad (albeit with a slightly different pattern).

Korg's new products, the KM202 and KM402 feature two- and four-channel operation respectively, and feature adjustable crossfaders, allowing the user to tailor the fader to their style. Interestingly, the mixers' EQ section can be selected to react differently, with settings including Slamming, Isolator and Round Q. The KM402 (pictured) features a mic input and three phono inputs, plus four line-level inputs. Of course, each fader can be assigned to the effects channel, which contains over 100 presets derived from the Korg KP3.
